I'm happy to be gaining new subscribers from this video, welcome to the channel. As of now, I will be making story narration videos regularly and on a consistent basis. Literally how is it wayy too low? Genuinely curious because after seeing your comment, I watched the video beginning to end and all the audio was plenty loud enough with the volume turned up not even halfway to full. Not that I didn't already know the audio was loud enough since I'm the one who edited it, though I still listened to my finished product anyway just to be sure. I guess maybe turn up the volume on your device up a few more notches?

I've been doing my best when narrating these videos to keep a balance of using my true natural deep voice, while also using a "POV" tone to sound as if I'm the person telling the story. Instead of sounding like I'm just reading it. Essentially just trying to sound authentic as possible to how my voice actually sounds like irl and also sound authentic to the tone the person recalling each story would have. I thank you very much shadow for seeing this video in your recommended feed and actually tapping on it, giving it a chance! It means a lot to me and I'm happy you enjoyed it. Not anytime soon. Anime videos for this channel are on an indefinite pause and even when/if I do start them again, it will only be my reviews for the episodes that will be posted on here. Reactions to the episodes would be posted on my Patreon and I've explained countless times throughout many videos and community tab posts why that would be how I would do it.

TL;DR: I'm NOT trying to be Nightmare and I'm making my best effort to make my videos unique and in my own style. Oh and also there are PLENTY of other story narration channels that copy Nightmare's style almost BEAT FOR BEAT, yet they get nothing but love and support! How's that fair?! Ohhh, oh no no no. Nope, I won't accept this assumption without giving the calmest response possible. I know we're not really doing this now? Saying I'm trying to be another RUclipsr. Look, there are MULTIPLE other channels that do story narration videos that MUCH MORE resemble and match Mr. Nightmare's style than my videos do. There are at least two channels that almost straight up MIMIC his style to a tee! These two channels in particular replicate everything from the style of thumbnail, editing and narrating voice that Mr. Nightmare does and those two channels are LOVED and AREN'T getting comments about them being a Nightmare clone. How is it fair for the PLENTY of other story narrator RUclipsrs who duplicate Mr. Nightmare's thumbnail, editing and voice narration style almost beat by beat to be given love, support and appreciation on their videos and never any negativity about them darn near copying Nightmare's style? Yet then when I make story narration videos that (while yes obviously has taken some inspiration from Nightmare) don't straight up copy and paste Nightmare's style like plenty of other RUclipsr's do, NO, I'm not given support or appreciation for the content. The one and only comment I receive on one of my story narration videos just has to be negative, saying I'm trying to be another RUclipsr. HOW is that fair?! I do my best to make my story narration videos in my own style. Looking at the thumbnails side by side, I would say mine are a noticeable departure from the style Mr. Nightmare and a ton of other horror story narrator RUclipsrs do. I make my thumbnails myself from scratch in Photoshop. The colored background, text style/effect, drop shadows, I do all that myself from scratch. The only parts of my thumbnails I don't make myself are whatever images I put in the thumbnail, the image for this particular video being a housing complex. And even the images I use, I do my own editing to them (changing color balance/contrast, adding a drop shadow effect to it, etc.). As for my style of editing, unlike Mr. Nightmare and almost every other story narrator RUclipsr who uses the "pulsing heart beat with black background" to transition into the next story, I do something different than all of them. I instead use a darkened image of my video's thumbnail as the background and a ticking grandfather clock as the sound effect during the transition to the next story. Then after the final story, the grandfather clock chimes as the darkened image of the video thumbnail is brightened and the title of the video is once again shown to wrap up the video. My narrating voice is..... literally just my natural deep voice. I'm not at all trying to make my voice sound like Mr. Nightmare's and I honestly don't think mine sounds much like his at all other than it being deep. Which again, my voice is just naturally deep. The way my voice sounds in my story narration videos is exactly how it would sound if you were to be standing in front of me, listening to me speak. I intentionally went out of my way to make my story narration videos as unique and fresh as possible. I for one think I've been doing a very good job at that so far. I feel that my thumbnail, editing and voice narration style is different enough from Mr. Nightmare's and the tons of other story narrator RUclipsrs who's style MUCH MORE matches Nightmare's than mine does. I do my best to make my own mark with these story narration videos and give them my own signature style, personal flavor and custom stamp that make them stand out and be unique and something a bit different from the style most of the other horror story narrator RUclipsrs do. So no, I just can't accept the slander of your comment when I'm actively making my story narration videos as different and unique as possible. Yet plenty of other story narration RUclipsrs aren't making much or an effort at all to differentiate their style from Nightmare's, some of them pretty much just straight up mimicking his style from the thumbnails, editing and voice narration. Then they get nothing but love and supporting comments on their videos. Then I get no comments after hundreds of views and the only comments I do get are ones saying nothing positive and just negative. It's not fair, right or acceptable that I get negative comments saying I'm trying to be another RUclipsr when the style of my videos are noticeably different than his but the other RUclipsrs who replicate Nightmare's style beat for beat get nothing but support and love. I'm not going to let you bring me down when I KNOW I'm at least making my best possible effort to differentiate the style of my story narrations from all the other RUclipsr's doing the same type of content, who pretty much are all copying each other. Your comment should have instead been typed and sent on a video from one of the many channels who replicate Nightmare's style to the point it's almost indistinguishable. I am very happy with how I'm differentiating my story narration videos from the other channels and knowing I'm NOT trying to be like Mr. Nightmare or anyone else who's duplicating his style. To cap off this extensive comment, it should be said that there's NOTHING WRONG with making a type of content that someone else is already making. It happens LITERALLY EVERYWHERE with LITERALLY EVERY TYPE of media or product in existence. What matters is how that creator, company, organization, etc. tries to seperate their content/product from all the other existing ones. How they can make it unique and refreshing. How they can add their own personal style, custom stamp and unique flavor to it to make their specific version of the content/product something worth watching, reading, playing, eating, etc.

You must’ve got a lot of hate or ppl ridiculing you for your new content or this rubbed you the wrong way entirely but don’t let ppl like that get to you especially if they didn’t full out hate on you. Awesome! Constructive criticism and not straight up bashing/ridiculing. I've already been trying to narrate in a tone as if I'm the person telling the story, though I am fully aware some improvements can be made to make it better. I want to narrate it as if I'm the person telling the story, though while also not changing my natural deep voice too much. I suppose I'm saying I want the narrations to sound authentic for both sides. I want to retain my natural voice and remain true to me, while also having my tone of speech closely resemble the tone of each person telling their story. I will make more of an effort to have more of a "pov tone" in my voice when narrating the stories to sound more like I'm actually the person reliving their story. The mention about the music actually took my by surprise, in a good way. I've been intentionally keeping the music very low and just barely audible, due to it potentially being too loud and too much of a distraction. I just want it to be some omnious background noise to match the mood. So it's good to know you and maybe others think it should be a bit louder to help enhance the vibe of the stories. It's nice to see another comment from ya Zoom and I thank you tremendously for even now, sticking with me and my content. One of my OGs! I thank you as well for the constructive advice and I'll do better in future story telling videos to incorporate it to make these be of better quality.
